HI , NICE TO MEET YOU!

I´m Doris Sherman, a German native and L.A.-based creative soul with a passion for storytelling and photography. After pursuing a career in journalism – mostly in Germany and Switzerland –, I took a leap, moved to Los Angeles and started my own publishing business. In 2016, I founded SWEET SPOT magazine, which relaunched in 2021 as what you can now find here as Inspired magazine.

Publishing and creating this content is a result of a one-woman-show, no big editorial teams and no investors. Therefore you will also find a lot of things that inspire me and make me tick, e.g. my work as a photographer. Shooting street-style allowed me to combine two things I love to do the most: telling stories and working with brands and content creators.

Inspired is a place to get inspired, be inspired and get your daily dose of "If they can do it, so can I!"Regardless of where you currently find yourself on your journey to success, this magazine is intended as a resource where authenticity, transparency and unpolished storytelling in creativity and entrepreneurship still finds it´s place.
