Kalpana Semple was raised in a household that embraced an Ayurvedic lifestyle, guided by her knowledgeable mother. Growing up, she was immersed in the idea that everything needed for skin care and overall health could be found in the kitchen, and the care and energy put into preparing food directly impacted the person consuming it. All these things were integral to her upbringing, sparking her curiosity to experiment with kitchen ingredients. This curiosity led to her deepening her understanding with several courses and workshops, laying a solid foundation for her future clean skincare brand, Kaia Skin. Her goal was to provide customers with skincare products that are pure, clean, and uncomplicated.
